In Iron Orphans, teenage pilots modified to survive for decades are wired into towering war machines that burn through their bodies, memories, and remaining years. Create your orphan, choose or roll their body modification and machine, then play through three brutal stages: Pre-War, War, and Post-War.

Each roll may cost blood, identity, innocence, or life. Stop at any point and leave the war unresolved, or survive all three stages to reach a true ending and decide whether history remembers you as a hero, monster, survivor, or the first soldier of the next war.

A dark solo, rules-light micro-TTRPG of child soldiers, dying machines, stolen memories, and commands that should have been forgotten.

Pilot Summary:

Mara is sixteen, body-modified, and permanently linked to LAST MERCY, an artillery-class Iron Orphan carrying enough firepower to erase a city.

Command considers her a compromised asset. The surviving pilots consider her a liberator.

After discovering that the ancient war may have been built on a lie, Mara broadcasts the stolen memories of dead children across every active war machine. Now the Iron Orphans are lowering their weapons, abandoning their commanders, and following her into the wasteland.

Mara may be the only pilot capable of ending the war—or the weapon that begins its final battle.
